Milk Cup: Thursday’s action in Ballymena area

Ballymena Showgrounds takes a break from the action today as preparations continue at the Warden Street venue to host the Junior and Premier section finals on Friday.

But there’s still plenty of action at Broughshane and Clough, where today’s line-up is:

1.30pm: Junior section - Dale Farm Globe semi-final: AS Roma USA v Co Down.

5pm: Premier Section - Dale Farm Globe semi-final: Strikers v Newcastle United.

CLOUGH

Noon: Junior section - Dale Farm Vase semi-final: Brentford v Donegal Schoolboys.

3.30pm: Premier section - Dale Farm Salver: Partick Thistle v Higoshi Fukuoka.

Slightly further afield, the County Antrim Premier sqaud - which features Ballymena boys Eamon Fyfe, Josh Corry and Matthew Shevlin - play their Milk Cup semi-final against Spaniards Real Sociedad at Ballymoney’s Riada Stadium tonight (7.30pm).
