The rapidly developing integration of Northend United Youth within the Wakehurst FC family took another step forward at the weekend.

A number of the U17s were invited by 1st Team Manager, Paul Muir, who has been closely monitoring their progress, to witness Championship match day experience with Wakehurst’s first team before their match against Ballymena Reserves at Mill Meadow on Saturday.

With seven of the Club’s U17 team panel now having represented Wakehurst Strollers in pre-season friendlies, the future certainly looks bright for this talented team of boys.

In the latest match, four of the U17s, Ryan McKenna, Robbie Dennison, Tom Campbell and Bradley Cairns, played in the Wakehurst Strollers 1-1 draw with Michelin on Saturday morning.
